MINI SCHOOL PROJECT : State Machine
This is a small project completed during the AI for video games course. The goal is to implement a State Machine.
I created a little game, where you have to collect all the wood before your opponent. The bot has several states:
- Roam: he will collect and place the wood in his pile
- Attack: when the player arrives in the bot's aggression zone he will rush towards the hero and attack him
- Evade: When the NPC's life points are too low he will flee the fight to go to his healing zone
- Healing: The NPC will heal all these life points
- Dead: When it drops to 0 HP it becomes dead for a period and then comes back to life
- End: is triggered when one of the two teams has won, the bot no longer does anything
Controls:
- Z-Q-S-D to move your character
- O-P to change the cam angle
